2014 Kia Forte Steps Up as Distinct Rival in Competitive Compact Segment

There are more than a few strong competitors in the compact sedan segment of today's auto market, like the iconic Honda Civic, Chevrolet Cruze, Hyundai Elantra, and Ford Focus. However, for the 2014 model year, this popular segment will have a new, very strong contender: the 2014 KiaForte. Well, it isn't exactly new to the segment. The Forte appeared in 2010 as a replacement for the Kia Spectra, but the 2014 is so refreshed, it might as well be a new addition.

With a more attractive design, better driving dynamics, and impressive interior comfort, the 2014 is certainly impressive, and it should prove exceptionally popular with buyers this year.

Featuring the brand's latest design language (which looks especially nice in bright blue). Based on the same platform as the Hyundai Elantra, the new Forte features its own unique design with features such as the iconic Kia "Tiger Nose" grille in front, sculpted hood and side panels, a steeply raked windshield, and broader shoulders than the previous model.

It's the new model's driving experience that really put it another level though. Auto experts testing the optional 173-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine have called it rewarding and exceptionally receptive.

With so much hype surrounding the new Kia Forte, you're probably curious how about what it looks like in person. Well, Dulles Motorcars is happy to invite you to our 107-109 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, VA dealership to check it out for yourself. If you have any questions prior to your arrival, we'll be happy to provide answers if you simply give us a ring at (888) 928-5985.
