Trim Levels (Exterior)
You can get the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek in four trims: the Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited. The Base comes with 17-inch aluminum-alloy black with machine finish wheels and roof rails, a roof spoiler, and black folding side mirrors. You get fog lights, body-color folding side mirrors, and heated side mirrors on the Premium. Moving up to the Sport gets you 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with a dark gray finish and a gunmetal sport grille. The Limited upgrades to 18-inch lightweight/high-strength aluminum alloy wheels in black with a machine finish, LED steering-responsive headlights, and body-color folding side mirrors with integrated turn signals.
Engine (Power)
Depending on trim level, the Crosstrek has two engine options. The first one that powers the Base and Premium is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission. This combination delivers 152 horsepower. You can also get an optional continuously variable automatic transmission paired with this engine on the Base and Premium. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with the continuously variable automatic transmission produces 182 horsepower for the Sport and Limited.
Performance
Subaru understands that performance-enhancing features improve the driving experience and have added plenty to the Crosstrek for that reason. Each trim comes standard with Subaru Symmetrical all-wheel drive, putting you in control over various road conditions. You also get hill descent control to keep you in charge of any inclines you tackle in your Crosstrek. Vehicle dynamics control, the traction control system, and active torque vectoring work to keep you on your intended path. The Crosstrek can tow up to 1,500 pounds, letting you bring along the recreational toys for a weekend of fun.
Interior
Comfort and technology are front and center in the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek. The Base comes with automatic climate control, a four-speaker stereo, one USB port, and a 6.5-inch touch screen complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Premium adds an extra USB port, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and upgrades to a six-speaker stereo. If you go with the Sport trim, you get yellow interior stitching and simulated leather upholstery, a push-button start and keyless entry, and rear-seat USB ports. Finally, the Limited upgrades you to leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and an 8-inch infotainment interface.
Safety Features
Subaru offers plenty of standard and available safety and driver-assistance features to help keep you and your passengers safe.
